On my Centos 7 build, the packages were already installed: Package device-mapper-persistent-data-0.7.86_64 already installed and latest version To do so run: sudo yum install -y device-mapper-persistent-data lvm2 The first step is to install the packages that Docker is dependent on. I’ve recently started to study for the Docker Certified Associate certification as a way to help cement the knowledge I’ve picked up whilst using containers over the past 18 months or so.
